Abstract:
The Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN) is a graphical notation that can used for all kinds of workflows.
It has no formal semantics, but formal semantics have been developed.
We also discusss the potential use of BPMN for dataflows in the Open_eGo project.
In the second part, we will address the meaning (semantics) of BPMN diagrams.
