While deductive reasoning draws conclusions from hypotheses with logical strength, inductive reasoning generalises examples to general laws. So inductive reasoning is less strict and reliable, but still necessary in order to be able to set up general laws based on empirical observations.
Using literature, I will give a brief introduction and overview.
