Date: 2019, January 8

Title: Open Problems in Energy Modelling, Part II

Abstract:

The field of energy modelling is a rapidly growing research field that frequently involves large optimisation problems. Yet, the data situation is complicated and requires complicated pre-processing and the generation of artificial data that should be build on a logically sound foundation in order to support political decision making. In this talk we will present some open problems in energy modelling that may be interesting points of application for heterogeneous methods and neuro-symbolic integration.
