Ontologies have different purposes; one is to enhance database access.
Therefore, the database schema needs to be aligned with the ontology.
As one tool for finding such alignments, we present an overview of string matching techniques.
This is then applied to produce an alignment between
1) the model fact sheet schema in the Open Energy Platform and
2) the Open Energy Ontology.
